  3. Sep 15, 2024Beast Machines: Transformers is a 26-episode cartoon that aired in the US from 1999 to 2000, in support of the toyline of the same name. The show ran for two seasons, airing on YTV and Fox Kids from 1999 to 2000.
  8. I recently rewatched both with my daughter. Beast Wars continues to shine as the best way these characters ever were portrayed. Beast Machines chose to get really serious, and perhaps if they could go pg14 or whatever the netflix shows go now, it would have landed better. I really appreciate these under tones but didn't love some of the execution.
  9. Nov 25, 2024Beast Machines was the toyline successor to Beast Wars, running from very late 1999 to early 2001. It featured the Maximals as smoothly techno-organic beasts, pitted against the futuristic war machines of the Vehicons. Beast Machines signaled the full-fledged return of vehicular Transformers, after an absence of nearly four years.. Though Beast Machines was the primary series in 2000, Hasbro ...
